I was in London in the early 80s working on the Portobello Road Market. My dream was to be a pop star and during my time trying to achieve this I had the greatest pleasure of being told by one of Adam Ants friends where he was having his voice training. I drove that evening and knocked on Tonas house in Highgate looking typically 80s with all the make up and get up you could imagine. She was just amazing.. " you best come in for a tea" and so it began. I visited every week and stood at that lovely grand piano and Tona smiling and taking me through those va vas and ve ves... RIP Tona you lovely lady and my condolences to all the family
